We love it when kids have fun at the Kitchener Market! Bring your little ones to enjoy live music, art, DIY workshops, cooking classes and more! Our programs foster a safe and fun environment where kids can express themselves while learning new skills.
If you’re hungry before or after an activity, don’t worry! You can stop by the Food Hall for a healthy and kid-friendly meal or snack. There are many options for adults, too. Visit our Food Hall page for hours and vendor options.
Does your child have a birthday or other celebration coming up? Consider renting our Marketplace event venue. We can customize any rental package to suit your group and budget.
Note: All programs designed for kids require supervision from a parent or guardian unless otherwise stated.
From March 18, 2025 onward, registration events will ALWAYS be split into two dates for residents and non-residents!

A program designed to inspire and teach your young home cooks. They will learn new skills and abilities to help them continue their culinary journey. Visit our event calendar to find the next date and theme for your chef-in-training. Most Kids in the Kitchen programs are designed for youth age 8 to 12 years old.

Our summer camp will be available for registration Tuesday March 18, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. for City of Kitchener residents ONLY.
March 25, 2025 at 8:30am registration begins for non-Kitchener residents.
